Nah, once you learn Korean, Japanese is very easy to learn. They have both ALMOST same sentence structures and vocabulary usages, except that in Japanese you have to learn Kanji, which is the TRUE pain in the ass. In terms of language delicacy, Korean is way more difficult than Japanese.
음, 한국어배우면 일본어는 쉬워요. 거의 같은 문법에 어휘를 가지고있기때문에... 망할 한자쓴다는거빼놓고요. 미묘한 부분들까지 따지자면 한국어가 훨씬 어려워요.

I might just give the Korean language a shot. I have always been fascinated with the structure but never have bothered trying to understand it. I think the hardest task is finding the right website/ tools to start people off.
I do understand though that the Japanese and Korean language are similar in their own ways its just the kanji that's really putting me off since there are hardly any good websites which explains the layout and how one would be able to read it without resorting to romaji. =(

Yeah... but the fact is, only a few smart people in Japan use an extensive amount of Kanji. It's perfectly fine with learning just hiragana and how to speak/write with it. (My Dad once worked in the campus in Japan, and he said many of them can read the Kanji and understand its meaning, but don't know how to even pronounce it =0 weird) And I agree in that there's no real good website for Korean OR Japanese; the information out there is just way too shallow =/ I highly recommend going to library to check some out. =D
Just a side talk, one of my Taiwanese friends knows how to speak and understand a good chunk of Korean, just by years of watching Korean shows/dramas and listening to K-pop 0_0 impressive, eh?
위에꺼는 걍 잡담이지만... 무슨말하는지 알고싶으면 한글번역 해달라해주시면 바로 해드릴께요 'ㅁ'

Re: Talk anything here
Is anybody here? I was wondering what to do with this empty forum. I'm thinking about adding a Korean section of the forum of SMO even if I'm not a fluent.

Re: Talk anything here
Apparently this forum becomes active during the vacation time. Like... Winter or Summer season. And my studying cycle never seems to end, so I can only SMOC, my main community, like once in a week. I guess the forum will remain dormant while Winter hits or sth.
